Each entry covers how it applies, India fit, free tier, price as of October 2026 with a source, and who it suits.

Why people look past Simplify

Simplify's pitch is "discover matched jobs, tailor your résumé, autofill applications, track your search". The Copilot extension is free and genuinely fast on long forms. The paid tier, Simplify+, is $19.99 a week, $39.99 a month or $89.99 for three months (help centre). Its help centre also describes an Autopilot that prepares and submits applications without a review step, which is a different product from the autofill most people sign up for.

The limits are structural. It needs desktop Chrome, so a phone-only search is out. The job database and company pages are built around US hiring, and there is nothing India-specific. Autofill makes a form faster but still drops you into the same applicant queue as everyone else, with no cover letter and no person on the other end. And the paid tier is priced for a dollar budget. For a direct comparison see Hireoo vs Simplify.

Option 1: Hireoo

Hireoo is an AI job agent for job seekers in India, used through a chat in English or Hinglish. You type the job you want in one line; it finds fresh hiring posts from across the web, shows each with a fit percentage and reasons, writes a cover letter for that job and emails it, with your résumé, to the hiring contact from your own Gmail. The access is send-only; it never reads your inbox. You review each email or auto-apply to the results you pick.

  • Pros: no extension and no desktop; the recruiter receives a cover letter written for that job; nothing to log in to; Starter is ₹0 with 10 job results a day; weekly pass ₹149 (₹99 until 31 December 2026) with no auto-renew; a free ATS résumé checker on the site.
  • Cons: email only, so form-only employers are out of reach; no reply tracking and no follow-ups; it does not publish where its hiring posts originate; no tracker beyond saved jobs on Pro.
  • Best for: Indian job seekers who want the application written and sent, not just the form filled.

Option 2: Huntr

Huntr is a job tracker with a Chrome autofill extension and a set of résumé tools, each with its own landing page. The free plan includes the tracker for up to 100 jobs, two tailored résumés, résumé scoring and autofill; Pro is $40 a month, $90 a quarter or $160 for six months (pricing).

  • Pros: the best-organised tracker in this list; free tier is usable; résumé scoring included.
  • Cons: it does not apply for you; dollar pricing; desktop extension; US-centric content.
  • Best for: someone applying by hand to many roles who keeps losing track of them.

Option 3: Teal

Teal is a résumé builder and job tracker with a free tier that lets you keep several résumé versions and track applications. Its site blocks automated checks, so prices here are third-party: Teal+ is reported at $13 a week, $29 a month, $79 a quarter or $179 a year (Jobscan listicle). Reviewers are consistent that it will not apply for you.

  • Pros: strong résumé editing per job description; free tier with no card; weekly plan if you need it briefly.
  • Cons: no sending at all; dollar pricing; the large content library is US-focused.
  • Best for: building a résumé version per job before you apply elsewhere.

Option 4: Careerflow

Careerflow was founded in India but prices in dollars: free, Premium $23.99 a month ($14.41 a month on yearly billing) and Premium Plus $44.99 a month ($24.99 yearly), per its homepage in October 2026 (careerflow.ai). Its most-praised tool is the free LinkedIn profile optimiser; it also has a résumé builder, tracker, cover-letter writer, autofill and mock interviews.

  • Pros: the LinkedIn optimiser is free and good; broad toolkit; large template libraries.
  • Cons: no auto-apply; no rupee pricing and no Hindi despite Indian roots; autofill needs desktop Chrome.
  • Best for: fixing your LinkedIn profile before a search.

Option 5: Jobright

Jobright matches you to listings, shows how fresh each is, autofills applications and offers an AI copilot. The free tier covers matching; the Turbo plan is reported at $39.99 a month, $17.99 a week or $89.99 for three months, and its pricing page returned an error when we checked, so see jobright.ai (jobnova).

  • Pros: posting-time stamps on listings; match scores; free tier.
  • Cons: US-only in practice; autofill rather than apply-for-you; dollar pricing.
  • Best for: US-targeting searches. See Jobright alternatives.

Option 6: LoopCV

LoopCV is a bot: upload a CV, pick the role, press start, and it submits applications across 30+ boards, with a free plan and paid plans from €9.99 a month (pricing). Its homepage also says it can find a recruiter's email and send a personalised message.

  • Pros: free plan; both forms and recruiter emails; many free tools without signup.
  • Cons: euro pricing; the Hindi version of the site is a machine translation; needs a browser extension for login-gated boards; little control over quality unless you review.
  • Best for: volume on international boards with a free start. See LoopCV alternatives.

Option 7: myjobb

myjobb is an Indian AI job agent that says it submits applications inside Naukri, Foundit, Instahyre and other portals through sessions you authorise once, with a daily report at 9 AM IST. Its homepage lists the first 20 applications free and ₹999 a month with no auto-renew; its blog lists ₹499 to ₹1,999 a month (myjobb.ai, blog).

  • Pros: Indian portals; rupee pricing; per-job résumé tailoring; runs without a desktop.
  • Cons: you hand over portal logins and portal terms are written against bots; English only; two different price lists.
  • Best for: portal volume in India, eyes open. Full write-up: Hireoo vs myjobb.

How to choose

  1. Name the bottleneck. If it is "forms take too long", keep Simplify or try Huntr. If it is "I lose track", Huntr or Teal. If it is "my LinkedIn is weak", Careerflow. If it is "I apply and hear nothing", you need tailoring and a human reader: Hireoo.
  2. Phone or desktop. Every autofill tool here needs desktop Chrome. Hireoo and myjobb do not.
  3. Where your jobs are. Indian portal listings point to myjobb. Hiring posts with a contact point to Hireoo. US listings point to Jobright or Simplify.
  4. Budget and currency. Dollar weekly plans of $13 to $20 cost more than a month of most Indian tools. Check for rupee pricing and one-time passes.
  5. Run a free tier for two weeks and count replies. That is the only metric that matters. Before any of it, run your résumé through the free ATS résumé checker so every tool is working with a clean file, and read what an AI job agent is if the categories are blurring together.

If the email-first route sounds right, create a free Hireoo account and describe the job you want.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

The Copilot autofill extension is free. Simplify+ costs $19.99 a week, $39.99 a month or $89.99 for three months as of October 2026, according to its help centre, and adds AI résumé tailoring and the Autopilot mode.

Mostly no. Copilot fills the form and you click submit. Its help centre also describes an Autopilot mode that prepares and submits applications without a review step, so check which mode you have switched on.

The extension autofills any form it recognises, but Simplify's job database and company pages are US-first, and nothing on the site is India-specific. It also needs desktop Chrome, which rules out a phone-only search.

For tracking and résumés, Huntr, Teal and Careerflow all have free tiers. For getting applications sent in India, Hireoo's Starter plan is ₹0 with 10 job results a day, and LoopCV has a free plan for board submissions.

Hireoo runs entirely in a chat on your phone and needs no extension; it emails applications from your own Gmail. Huntr, Teal, Careerflow and Simplify all rely on a desktop Chrome extension for autofill.

Use a tracker if you apply by hand and lose track of where you applied. Use an agent if the writing and sending is the bottleneck. Many people pair a free tracker with an agent that does the sending.
