Hireoo vs myjobb: Two Indian AI Job Agents Compared (2026)
myjobb and Hireoo are both AI job agents built for India, but they apply in different places. myjobb submits applications inside Indian job portals and company career pages through sessions you authorise. Hireoo writes a tailored application email for each matching post and sends it to the hiring contact from your own Gmail, after you review it. This page compares how each applies, what each costs in rupees as of October 2026, and who should pick which.

The short answer
Both products call themselves AI job agents for India. Both run from a phone, and both write something tailored for each job. The real difference is where your application lands.
myjobb says it submits applications inside Indian job portals and company career pages. Its homepage names Naukri, Foundit, Instahyre, Greenhouse and Ashby plus "15 other platforms", and its blog describes server-side submissions through portal sessions you authorise once (myjobb.ai, myjobb blog). There is also a myjobb Chrome extension in the Chrome Web Store (listing). The pitch is "be the first to every job", backed by a daily report at 9 AM IST.
Hireoo never logs in to a portal. It finds fresh hiring posts from across the web, scores each one against your résumé with a fit percentage and reasons, writes a cover letter for that specific job, and sends it to the hiring contact from your own Gmail. You read it before it goes, or let it auto-apply to the results you pick.
Pick myjobb if the companies you want hire mostly through portal listings and you want volume there. Pick Hireoo if you want a named person to receive a cover letter written for that role, from your own address, without handing a portal login to a third party. A lot of people run both.

How each one actually applies
myjobb: portal sessions and career-page forms
You connect your portal accounts once. myjobb then watches for new listings, tailors your résumé to the job description, and submits through the portal or the company's applicant-tracking form on its servers. The strength is reach: if a company posts only on Naukri or Foundit, this is one of the few ways to apply there automatically. The daily report at 9 AM IST tells you what went out.
The trade-offs are the same for every portal bot. Your application sits in the same recruiter queue as everyone else's, so you still depend on the recruiter opening that queue. You are handing a logged-in session to a third party, which is worth thinking about. And most portals' terms are written against automated use; myjobb's blog argues its server-side approach is safer than extension bots, but the risk is not zero. Our explainer on what auto apply means and where it goes wrong covers this in detail.
Hireoo: a tailored email to the hiring contact
You type the job you want in one line ("fresher data analyst, Pune, open to Mumbai"). Hireoo returns fresh hiring posts with a fit percentage and the reasons behind it. For each one you approve, it writes a cover letter for that job and emails it, with your résumé, to the hiring contact from your own Gmail. Access is send-only; it never reads your inbox.
The strength is that a human reads your application. The post was written by someone who wants to hire, and your email arrives in their inbox with their job in the subject line. The limits are honest ones: Hireoo only uses posts where a hiring contact can be reached, it does not fill portal forms, and it does not track replies or send follow-ups. Replies land in your Gmail and you send the follow-up yourself. See how Hireoo auto applies from your Gmail for the full flow.
Pricing in rupees, as of October 2026
myjobb's pricing is listed in two places with two sets of numbers. The homepage says the first 20 applications are free and the paid plan is ₹999 a month with no card upfront and no auto-renew (myjobb.ai). Its blog post on auto-apply tools in India, updated 20 October 2026, lists a one-time free allowance of 20 applications, then Starter ₹499, Pro ₹999 and Max ₹1,999 a month with caps of 150, 350 and 1,000 applications (myjobb blog). Both may be true at once (a single public plan plus tiers inside the app), but ask before you pay.
Hireoo's plans are on one page. Starter is ₹0 with 10 job results a day, one résumé analysis a month, a cover letter for every job and auto apply from Gmail. Pro is ₹499 a month with 25 job results a day, Resume Specific and Custom Template cover-letter styles, an AI résumé rewrite, unlimited résumé analyses, memory, saved jobs and interview prep. The weekly Pro pass is ₹149 for seven days, ₹99 as a festive offer until 31 December 2026, paid once with no auto-renew. Full details are on the pricing page.
Note the different units. myjobb caps applications per month. Hireoo caps job results a day and leaves applications uncapped, so on Starter you could email all 10 results every day.
Who should pick myjobb
- Your target companies list only on Indian portals and rarely publish a hiring contact.
- You want to be among the first applicants on new portal listings and the 9 AM IST report suits your routine.
- You are comfortable authorising portal sessions and accept the terms-of-service risk that comes with any portal bot.
- You need WhatsApp-based updates rather than a chat app.
Who should pick Hireoo
- You want your application read by the person who posted the job, with a cover letter written for it, from your own Gmail.
- You use a phone for most of your job search and do not want an extension or a dashboard.
- You think in Hinglish and want to describe the job that way.
- You want to see why a job fits before applying, and to approve each email, or batch-approve the ones you pick.
- You want a free tier with no card and a weekly pass instead of a monthly commitment.
Running both without doubling up
They do not clash, because one goes through portals and the other goes through email. Two habits keep it clean. First, keep a one-line note of every company you have contacted that week; if Hireoo emails a recruiter, do not also fire a portal application at the same company the same day. Second, use the same résumé in both, so the version a recruiter sees on a portal matches the one attached to your email. If you are also applying by hand, our guide to emailing HR for a job has subject lines and templates you can reuse.
For the wider market, including portal tools, see the auto-apply job websites in India listicle and the comparison with ApplyCove, another portal bot.
Where Hireoo fits
Hireoo is the email channel. It is for job seekers in India who want a tailored application in front of the hiring contact rather than in a portal queue, and who want to do it from a phone in English or Hinglish. Start on Starter for ₹0, check the fit reasons on your first 10 results, and send the ones you like. If you want 25 job results a day, cover-letter styles and the résumé rewrite, the weekly pass is ₹149 (₹99 until 31 December 2026) with no auto-renew. Create your free account and describe the job you want in one sentence.
