Hireoo vs FastApply: Which Auto-Apply Tool Fits India? (2026)
FastApply is a global auto-apply tool with an India landing page. It submits applications on job boards and applicant-tracking forms, with monthly caps per plan and rupee pricing shown on its site. Hireoo is an AI job agent for India that writes a cover letter for each matching hiring post and emails it to the hiring contact from your own Gmail after you review it. This page compares how each applies, what each costs as of October 2026, and which fits an Indian job search.

The short answer
FastApply and Hireoo are both automation, but they automate different steps. FastApply fills and submits application forms on job boards and company career pages, at volume, with a résumé and cover letter tailored per role. Hireoo finds fresh hiring posts, writes a cover letter for each, and emails it to the hiring contact from your own Gmail.
FastApply is a global product with an India landing page. That page says it applies on Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed and Glassdoor and claims 10,000+ job seekers in India (fastapply.co/in). Its pricing page, when we opened it in October 2026, showed rupee prices and monthly caps per plan (pricing).
Hireoo was built for India from the start: chat in English or Hinglish, rupee plans with a weekly pass, no extension, and an application that reaches a person rather than a queue. Pick FastApply for portal and form volume. Pick Hireoo when you want your application read by the person who is hiring.

How FastApply works, and what to watch
You upload a résumé, set role and location filters, and FastApply applies to matching listings on the boards it supports, generating a tailored résumé and cover letter for each. Plans are sold as "sprints" with monthly application caps and daily limits, and there is a 90-day one-time option at a discount to three monthly charges (pricing).
Points to weigh:
- Which boards it really covers in India. The India landing page names Naukri; the general pricing page lists Indeed, Glassdoor, LinkedIn and a long list of applicant-tracking systems such as Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, Monster and Rippling. If Naukri coverage is the reason you are buying, confirm it works for your account before paying for a full sprint.
- Price shown versus price quoted. When we opened the pricing page in October 2026 it showed ₹433, ₹866 and ₹1,566 a month. The USD prices are $14, $29 and $49, and a widely cited Indian listicle quotes roughly ₹1,200 to ₹4,100 a month, which is simply those dollar prices converted (myjobb listicle). Pay attention to which currency and plan you are being shown.
- Terms of service. Submitting through logged-in board accounts is automated access, and most boards' terms are written against it. Accounts have been restricted for this. Read what auto apply means and the risks by type before running any bot on your main profile.
How Hireoo works, and what to watch
You type the job you want in one sentence. Hireoo returns fresh hiring posts with a fit percentage and the reasons behind it. For each result you approve, it writes a cover letter for that job and emails it, with your résumé, to the hiring contact from your own Gmail. The access is send-only; it never reads your inbox.
Points to know:
- No forms, no portals. Hireoo signs in to nothing and fills nothing. If a company only accepts applications through a form, it will not reach that company.
- The cap is results, not sends. Starter shows 10 job results a day, Pro shows 25, and you can email every one of them.
- Follow-ups are yours. Hireoo does not track replies or send follow-ups. Replies arrive in your Gmail; you answer from there. The apply-to-HR email guide has follow-up templates.
Prices in rupees, as of October 2026
FastApply, as shown on its pricing page in October 2026: a free tier of 5 applications valid for 7 days with no card; Starter Sprint ₹433 a month for 200 applications a month (up to 100 daily); Pro Sprint ₹866 for 500 a month; Elite Sprint ₹1,566 for 1,000 a month; USD equivalents $14, $29 and $49; 90-day one-time options at $38, $75 and $132 (pricing). Because the page may show different currencies to different visitors, treat these as "see their pricing page" numbers.
Hireoo: Starter ₹0 with 10 job results a day, one résumé analysis a month, a cover letter for every job and auto apply from Gmail. Pro ₹499 a month with 25 job results a day, Resume Specific and Custom Template cover-letter styles, an AI résumé rewrite, unlimited résumé analyses, memory, saved jobs and interview prep. Who should pick FastApply
- You want hundreds of portal and form submissions a month and can supervise the results.
- The roles you want are posted on boards and applicant-tracking forms and rarely include a hiring contact.
- You work from a desktop and are fine managing a dashboard.
- You have confirmed the boards you need are covered for Indian accounts.
Who should pick Hireoo
- You want a tailored application in the hiring contact's inbox, from your own Gmail, with a cover letter written for that role.
- You search from a phone and want to type in English or Hinglish.
- You want to read the fit reasons and approve each email, or batch-approve the ones you pick.
- You want a free tier with no card and a weekly pass instead of a monthly sprint.
- You do not want to share any portal login.
Using both
There is no conflict: one goes through forms, the other through email. A common pattern is a portal tool for breadth and Hireoo for the roles you care about. Keep one résumé version across both, keep a weekly note of companies contacted, and compare reply rates after two weeks before paying for either. For portal-only tools built for India, see Hireoo vs myjobb and Hireoo vs ApplyCove; for the wider list, read the auto-apply job websites in India listicle.
Where Hireoo fits

Starter is ₹0 with 10 job results a day; the weekly Pro pass is ₹149 (₹99 until 31 December 2026) with no auto-renew. Create your free account and describe the job you want in one line.
