Why people look past LoopCV
LoopCV deserves credit: it was early to the idea that a tool could find a recruiter's email and send a personalised message instead of only filling forms, and its free-forever plan is real (loopcv.pro). Paid plans start from €9.99 a month (pricing).
The reasons to look elsewhere are specific. Pricing is in euros with no UPI; an Indian reseller lists it at around ₹453 a month before GST, which tells you the product is not sold for India directly (Techjockey). The Hindi version of the site is a machine-translated clone of the English one, with no Indian boards or portals behind it. The model is set-and-forget: applications go out without a review step unless you dig into the settings, so a generic letter can reach the wrong role. And boards that require a login need its browser extension on a desktop. The direct comparison is in Hireoo vs LoopCV.
Option 1: Hireoo
Hireoo is an AI job agent for job seekers in India, used through a chat in English or Hinglish. Describe the job you want in one line; it finds fresh hiring posts from across the web, shows each with a fit percentage and the reasons behind it, writes a cover letter for that job and emails it, with your résumé, to the hiring contact from your own Gmail. Access is send-only; it never reads your inbox. You review each email, or let it auto-apply to the results you pick.
- Pros: the same email-to-a-person idea LoopCV pioneered, but built for Indian hiring with rupee plans; the fit reasons are shown before you send; no extension; Starter ₹0 with 10 job results a day; weekly pass ₹149 (₹99 until 31 December 2026) with no auto-renew.
- Cons: email only, so form-only employers are out of reach; no reply tracking and no follow-ups; it does not publish where its hiring posts originate; no international boards.
- Best for: Indian job seekers who want recruiter emails that are actually tailored and reviewed.
Option 2: JobCopilot
JobCopilot applies on company career pages rather than boards, and its Elite plan includes credits to contact hiring managers, which overlaps with LoopCV's email feature. Premium is $0.93 a day with up to 20 matched roles daily; Elite is $1.05 a day with up to 50; weekly, monthly and quarterly billing exist (pricing).
- Pros: employer career pages; hiring-manager outreach on Elite; multilingual.
- Cons: no free trial mentioned; dollar pricing; no Indian portals; reviewers report form breakage.
- Best for: targeting specific companies, including remote roles abroad. See Hireoo vs JobCopilot.
Option 3: LazyApply
LazyApply is the volume option: Basic $99 a year (15 applications/day), Premium $149 (150/day), Ultimate $999 (1,500/day), a 30-day money-back window, no free tier, and a Chrome extension that applies on Greenhouse, Dice, Indeed and ZipRecruiter (lazyapply.com).
- Pros: highest caps; money-back window.
- Cons: annual dollar billing; US-centric boards; no review step; no recruiter emails.
- Best for: maximum breadth with the quality trade accepted. See LazyApply alternatives.
Option 4: AIApply
AIApply bundles auto-apply credits with résumé, cover-letter and interview tools and publishes its own LoopCV comparison page. Its pricing page describes a limited free tier, a Premium subscription and credit packs of 100 or 250 without listing prices; third parties report roughly $49 to $99 a month for the packs (aiapply.co/pricing).
- Pros: pay per batch; large toolkit; student discount.
- Cons: opaque pricing; dollar billing; no India page.
- Best for: occasional bursts plus coaching tools.
Option 5: Jobright
Jobright matches you to fresh listings, shows posting times, autofills forms and offers an AI copilot. The free tier covers matching; Turbo is reported at $39.99 a month, $17.99 a week or $89.99 for three months, and the pricing page returned an error when we checked, so see jobright.ai (jobnova).
- Pros: freshness stamps; match scores; free tier.
- Cons: US-only in practice; autofill, not apply-for-you; no recruiter emails.
- Best for: US-targeting searches. See Jobright alternatives.
Option 6: Simplify
Simplify's free Copilot autofills forms while you submit; its help centre also describes an Autopilot that submits without a review step. Simplify+ is $19.99 a week, $39.99 a month or $89.99 for three months (help centre).
- Pros: free extension; large database; tracker.
- Cons: desktop Chrome only; US-first; no recruiter emails.
- Best for: faster manual applications. See Simplify alternatives.
Option 7: myjobb
myjobb is an Indian AI job agent that says it submits inside Naukri, Foundit, Instahyre and other portals through sessions you authorise, with a 9 AM IST daily report. Its homepage lists the first 20 applications free and ₹999 a month; its blog lists ₹499 to ₹1,999 (myjobb.ai, blog). It also publishes its own LoopCV comparison, which is worth reading with the usual vendor caution.
- Pros: Indian portals; rupee pricing; per-job résumé tailoring.
- Cons: portal logins shared and portal terms written against bots; English only; two price lists; no recruiter emails.
- Best for: portal volume in India. Full write-up: Hireoo vs myjobb.
How to choose
- Decide which LoopCV feature you were using. Recruiter emails: Hireoo in India, JobCopilot Elite abroad. Board submissions: LazyApply, AIApply or, for Indian portals, myjobb.
- Insist on a review step if quality has been the problem. Hireoo shows the email and the fit reasons before anything goes out; most bots do not.
- Check currency and billing. Euro and dollar plans add up fast for an Indian search; rupee free tiers and weekly passes let you test cheaply.
- Check the login question. Portal bots log in as you; email tools do not.
- Write your own follow-ups. No tool in this list sends a good follow-up for you; the apply-to-HR email guide has templates. Run a two-week test, count replies per application, and keep the winner. For definitions, read what an AI job agent is.
If the reviewed, email-first route is what you wanted from LoopCV in the first place, create a free Hireoo account and describe the job you want.
