Hireoo vs Jobright: Is Jobright Available for India? (2026)
Jobright works from India in the sense that you can sign up and browse, but it is built for the US market: the job filter defaults to the United States, its role-by-city pages are American cities, and its homepage FAQ lists a 'what regions' question without any mention of India. Pick Jobright if you are targeting US roles. Pick Hireoo if you want roles in India, applied for by email from your own Gmail, in English or Hinglish, starting free.

Is Jobright available for India? The short answer
Yes, in the narrow sense that you can open jobright.ai from India, create an account and browse. No, in the sense that matters, because the product is built around the US job market. On its homepage the job filter defaults to "United States", the footer leads with H1B jobs, and the FAQ carries the question "What regions does Jobright's service cover?" without a word about India anywhere on the page (jobright.ai, checked October 2026). Its programmatic job pages are role-by-US-city pages, such as backend engineer in New York or DevOps in Seattle (taxonomy sitemap).
So the two-sentence verdict: choose Jobright if you are targeting a job in the United States, whether you are already there on a student or work visa or hunting for a US remote role. Choose Hireoo if you want a job in India and want an AI agent that finds fresh hiring posts here, writes a tailored application for each, and emails the hiring contact from your own Gmail after you review it.
A lot of people in India search for "Jobright India", which is probably how you got here, so the rest of this page answers the follow-ups: what Jobright does well, where it falls short for an Indian search, and how it compares with Hireoo line by line.

What Jobright does well
Jobright is the biggest name in this category for a reason, and for a US search it is genuinely strong.
- Scale of listings. The homepage claims "8,000,000+ total jobs", "400,000+ new jobs today" and "3,000,000+ trusted users". Even with a marketing discount, it is the traffic leader among AI job tools: Similarweb counted roughly 5.9 million visits over three months in mid-2026 (Similarweb).
- Freshness. Users on Reddit single out its freshness labels on listings as the feature they like most (summary of Reddit threads). Applying to a role posted this morning beats applying to one that quietly closed last month.
- Orion, the copilot. A 24/7 "AI Career Copilot" you can ask about roles, résumés and interviews, inside the same product that shows you the jobs.
- Autofill across ATS platforms. "Apply to hundreds of jobs daily across all major ATS platforms. Skip repetitive data entry." For Workday-and-Greenhouse-heavy US hiring, that is real time saved, and you remain the one who clicks apply.
- H-1B and entry-level filters. Footer pages for H1B jobs, entry-level jobs and remote jobs. For an Indian student or professional targeting the US, the H-1B filter alone is a reason to keep an account.
- A free tier and extras. Résumé helper, cover letter generator, job tracker and fraud detection, with Trustpilot and Product Hunt badges on the homepage.
Where Jobright falls short for India
The listings are American. Default filter: United States. Role-by-city pages: New York, Seattle and other US metros. H-1B is a US visa. None of that helps you find a role in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune or Indore, and there is no India filter to switch to on the page we could read.
It does not say it covers India. The FAQ asks what regions the service covers; India is not mentioned anywhere on the homepage. If you are counting on it, open that FAQ entry yourself and read the answer before you pay for anything.
Pricing is hidden and in dollars. No price on the public site, a 404 on the pricing URL, and third-party figures around $39.99 a month or $17.99 a week for Turbo. Check inside the app before you decide, and expect an international card charge with a forex markup.
Autofill is still forms, on a desktop. The extension fills US-style ATS forms in Chrome. Indian hiring posts that ask you to email a résumé have no form to fill, and you cannot run an extension on a phone.
No Hinglish, no Indian context. The copilot and the content are in English and written for the US market: ATS keywords, US résumé formats, H-1B timelines.
It does not email anyone. Jobright finds and fills; it never contacts a hiring manager on your behalf. If the job you want was posted as "send your CV to hr@...", Jobright has no part to play.
What Hireoo does differently
Hireoo is an AI job agent for job seekers in India, used through a chat in English or Hinglish. You describe the job you want in a sentence; it finds fresh hiring posts from across the web (1,000+ fresh hiring posts every day), scores each against your résumé with a fit percentage and the reasons, writes a tailored application email for every job, and applies by emailing the hiring contact from your own Gmail. Access is send-only: it never reads your inbox, and every email sits in your Sent folder. You review and edit each one before it goes, or switch on auto apply for the results you pick (how it works).
Starter is ₹0 with 10 job results a day, a cover letter for every job and auto apply from Gmail. Pro is ₹499 a month for 25 job results a day, more cover-letter styles, an AI résumé rewrite and interview prep; the weekly Pro pass is ₹149 (₹99 festive offer until 31 December 2026), paid once, no auto-renew. No browser extension, no portal forms, and it works from a phone. Before you run a search, the free ATS résumé checker scores your résumé out of 100 so the fit percentages mean something.
It does not track replies or opens (those land in your Gmail), does not send follow-ups (you send those), does not fill forms on job portals, does not promise interviews, and does not publish where its hiring posts come from.
Choose Jobright if… / Choose Hireoo if…
Choose Jobright if
- You are targeting jobs in the United States, including H-1B-sponsoring employers, from India or from inside the US.
- You apply through company ATS forms and want them autofilled on a laptop.
- You want a large US listing volume with freshness labels and a copilot to ask questions.
- You are comfortable with a dollar subscription whose price you confirm inside the app.
Choose Hireoo if
- You want a job in India: metros or tier-2 cities, fresher to mid-career, tech or non-tech.
- You want the applying done for you by email, from your own Gmail, after you review each one.
- You work from a phone and prefer a chat in English or Hinglish to filters and forms.
- You want to start free and pay in rupees, by the week if you like.
Can you use both?
Yes, if you are genuinely running two searches: a US search through Jobright while keeping an India option open with Hireoo, or an India search now with an eye on US remote roles later. They do not overlap, since Jobright never emails and Hireoo never fills forms, so there is no risk of double-applying to the same posting. Keep one résumé truth across both, and if a US company also has an Indian office you are emailing, pick one channel for it. If you only want one tool, decide by geography: US roles, Jobright; Indian roles, Hireoo.
Comparing more tools? Hireoo's pages on Simplify, an autofill copilot much like Jobright's extension, and JobCopilot are the closest reads, and our Jobright alternatives for India page lists more options. If you are weighing Jobright against an Indian portal, the Hireoo vs Naukri page covers that. New to the idea of an agent that applies for you?
